hey ho, let’s go!
Procrastination is something I’ve always struggled with. I have a hard time finishing things that don’t have a set deadline, and even then, it’s usually right down to the wire. There are errands written on my to-do list dating back to the Stone Age, I swear. The problem is I get overwhelmed looking at a long list of tasks, panic, and then wander off to do something completely unnecessary. Like alphabetizing our DVD collection. Or baking cookies.
But hope now arrives in the form of these amazingly cute mini goals chalkboards by Mary Kate McDevitt! By focusing on only 2 tasks a day, a scary list becomes so much more manageable. I’ll definitely be ordering one…tomorrow?
the great mustachio
Mustache collection tote bag The Bold Banana | Mischievous salt and pepper shaker from paperdoll woodshop | Mustache napkin rings from Modern Dose | Mischievous mustache monkey from Friends of Socktopu
One of my co-workers has a sign by her desk that says “I [picture of a mustache] you a question”. I mustache you a question. Are you groaning yet? I giggle to myself every time I walk by it.
oh deer
Have you ever inexplicably found teeny hoof prints in your cupcake frosting? Or heard wee creatures scattering when you turn on the bathroom light to brush your teeth? The mystery is over, folks – Deer Sweet Images has caught the culprits on film!
an apple a day
Happy apple brooch from Candy Stripe Cloud | Lodge cast iron apple pot from Amazon | Apple coasters from My Crochet Shop | Apple notepad from The Curiosity Shoppe
It’s a very rare occasion when I don’t have apples stocked in my fridge. They make the most scrumptious snack sandwiched between cheddar cheese and Triscuits. Here are four shiny apple tidbits to start your week off with – I’m totally crazy about that cast iron pot!
it’s friday, friday

Gotta get down on Fridaaaaay
Ok I’m sorry, that was just plain cruel. But Rebecca Black is stuck in my head, and misery sure loves company!
By the way, this is exactly what I look like in the morning – so utterly rolled up under the blankets that it takes the strength of one husband to drag me out of bed by my feet. This dog and I may be very well be long lost twins. And, I mean, he does have the right idea – Fridays should definitely be spent snuggled in bed, in order to gear up for weekend activities :-) Have a good one!
atlantic-pacific
Wow, some ladies have just got it goin’ on! Bee’s blog, Atlantic-Pacific can be best described as an explosion of colors, patterns and textures. I’m a little beyond obsessed with her impeccable style. And while some of her pieces are pricey designer duds, she works in a lot from chain stores like Forever 21, Banana Republic, Zara, and Gap – hooray for attainable fashion! I don’t know about you, but I’m officially inspired to put my hair up in a sleek retro pouf and hit the stores for some spring shopping.
the turtle and the sea
Why in the world have I been making mashed potatoes all these years when I could’ve made this! Baby turtle potatoes! Not only is this too adorable for words, but there’s even a sweet story to go along with the photos at VegSpinz (found via TheKitchn). Love to see this kind of creativity in the kitchen!
flock of indigo
Winter is officially over, yet there are still teeny snowflake icons dancing through my 5-day forecast…damn. Thank goodness for this charming note card set by Design Army – the clever packaging is such a bonus! These sweet birds will keep me thinking warm Spring thoughts until the glorious day comes when I can finally pack away my winter coats and mittens.
