I squealed with delight when I spotted these super cute Noah’s Ark-themed cookie cutters at Micheal’s last weekend. The animals aboard include a teeny lion, bear, giraffe, elephant, and…dog? Horse? Well I have no idea what the last creature is, but the whole set was around $3, so I really can’t complain!

I generally like my snacks savory, so instead of making cookies, I used this Smitten Kitchen recipe to make crackers. It’s a dangerously easy recipe, as there are only a few ingredients and the food processor does 90% of the work. I followed all instructions to a tee, except I used all AP flour because I didn’t have any whole wheat flour on hand. Also the onion powder didn’t come through much in the end, so I would up the amount to ¼tsp, as suggested in the recipe.

The crackers came out super cheesy and flaky and crispy and totally addictive. We had some friends over to watch The Killing (great show!), and they were all gone by the end of the night. It’s safe to say the peanut gallery gave two thumbs up :-)
