Wicked witch bookmark from myBOOKmark | Pointing Finger bookmark from 25togo | Help! Bookmark from designboom | Liquid bookmark from ThinkGeek

Losing myself in books has always been one of my favorite pastimes, but I have a confession to make. I totally dog-ear pages. Gasp! And I use old crumpled up reciepts and bits of torn paper as page markers. Double gasp! It may be time to treat the books I love so much with a little more respect, starting with a shiny new bookmark.

PS. The last two I’ve read – The Rum Diaries and The Glass Castle were amazing, and I’d totally recommend them to other bookworms!

The Glass Castle was so heartbreakingly good!!! I am unfortunately one of those spine bender people :( I love the stripey legs red shoes book mark, it’s very OZ.

  5. OOOooh…Rum Diaries is good, eh? I wanna see the movie! I love the slippers. I have a door stop to my office like that and it makes me giggle every now and then!

I’m a total dog-earer too but these bookmarks could turn me. That wicked witch one is brilliant! Also, loved The Glass Castle! I just finished The Imperfectionists and would highly recommend it.

I’m so guilty of dog-earring pages-I can’t help it! I’ll have to check out the Rum Diaries!

I love reading. But I equally love collecting beautiful books.

  10. I use just about everything and anything I can find as a bookmark. Have been meaning to read Rum Diaries for quite some time now – especially with the movie that’s now out!

I love the witches feet, haha! I’ve been dog earring my books as of late. But usually I use something different for each book I read to mark my page. I just haven’t been reading much lately and that makes me sad. The only reason I miss the subway is for all the reading I was able to do. Oh well!

I totally do the same thing. Both the reading and the dogear thing. I would love to start with a glam bookmark. xo
