Whimsical Silhouette headboard via HGTV | Wrought Iron Headboard Decal from The Land of Nod | Trompe L'oeil Tufted Headboard via Apartment Therapy | Nessa Headboard from Blik Wall Decals

Toby has been quite a cute distraction these past few weeks, but I’m slowly getting back to some apartment projects I had my sights on at the beginning of the year. One room that definitely needs some love is our bedroom, which has far too many blank walls for my liking. Instead of buying a bulky, expensive headboard that I will be sure to curse whenever we move out, I’m thinking about painting a fun one for our platform bed to serve as the room’s focal point! I’m loving the tufted look in the bottom left photo, but if my artistic skills aren’t quite up to par, it’s reassuring to know that I can cheat by slapping on a slick wall decal :-)
