I just knew I had to make some animal jar toppers when I first spotted the DIY on You Are My Fave a few months back, so when my friend’s birthday rolled around this past weekend, a light bulb popped up over my head – I’d come bearing sweet treats in an even sweeter container! In all honesty, the most time consuming part of the gift was actually making the chocolate covered pretzels. The jars themselves were a piece of cake. A spritz of spray paint and a few dabs of glue were all it took to come together!

Tip: I hot glued the pig to the lid (watch those fingers!), but its hooves were so teeny that the bond was fairly fragile. I’d suggest using a stronger adhesive (ie. super glue) or choosing a critter with more surface area (ie. crocodile)
