Well it turns out that painting an entire room takes way more time and effort than one would think, especially when somebody thought it would be a total cinch. We managed to get one whole wall painted, before putting down our brushes to pay a visit to the Museum of Natural History, take a few naps, have lunch at a beloved sandwich shop that’s closing this week, watch Kill Bill 1 and 2, read a new book, stroll around the neighborhood, and go to a friend’s apartment for dinner. So yeah, this whole painting thing is going to be a bit of a process with our attention span, but Rome wasn’t built in a day, people!

PS. Spending an afternoon with dinosaurs will always and forever be my favorite kind of museum trip.

  3. Agreed. The Museum of Natural History is one of my favorite places. When I lived in the city, I sometimes went there in the middle of a weekday and just sat and read and wrote.
