Second of all, it’s cold out there, so keep your mitts warm in a cute pair of mittens! Yes, it’s true that they render you pretty much immobile and are the height of kindergartner fashion, but they’re so cozy that I can’t help but have several pairs to get me through the winter months.

I adore mittens. But I have to have a pair that has the removable flap for my fingers, since I’m always grabbing my camera to shoot something on my walks (sounds dangerous!) and it would be a hassle to take my mittens on and off every time, you know? My sister bought me a gorgeous pair of magenta leather gloves from Coach, maybe I’ll have to start wearing those!

With little ones I’ve moved on to what my husband likes to call “glittens.” They’re basically fingerless gloves with a mitten flap– makes it nice and easy to buckle and unbuckle and put on hats and rezip coats!
